A example of a alliteration is the all it ration and meter wasn't entirely correct,but it made me laugh.

A rhythm is when you are staying at a certain tempo and staying with it.
A example of rhythm is in almost every song it has a rhythm to it.

A rhyme is when you have words beside each other at the end of each sentence and those words are spelled or sound the same at the end.
A example of a rhyme is cat in the hat.

A metaphor is when someone says something but it means something else when they say it.
A example of a metaphor is in Romeo and Juliet when Romeo says that Juliet is brighter than the sun.

A analogy is when a similarity between like features of two things, on which a comparison may be based.

Repetition
Repetition is when the writer repeats a word or a phrase to show you reader that it is important.
A example of repetition is in a lot of poetry they repeat words that are important to the poem.

Personification
Personification is when you give an inhuman object human attributes.
A example of personification is the wind screaming into my ear.

A allusion is when in a story or TV show they put real life events into the story or tv show.
A example is in a lot of cartoons they use real life people and events to make it more interesting. It’s usually used for comedy, shows that use it a lot are The Simpsons, and Family Guy.

Oxymoron is when someone describes something but they say the opposite of what it really is.
A example is saying you're a little tall.

Euphemism
Euphemism is when is trying to say something bad but in a good way.
A example is “I have to empty the tank” which means they have to go to the washroom.

Imagery
Imagery is when the writer describes something very well and makes a image in your mind.
A example there was a crisp smell in the wind as I looked over the cliff side looking down into the valley below full of wildlife in a forest.

Irony is when someone says something that is untrue and usually silly.
A example of irony is someone died at a funeral.

Malapropism is when you use to words that sound the same at the beginning but are used with different letters.

Onomatopoeia is when people use words for sound effects.
A example is boing, used for something bouncing.

Satire is when people make fun of real things.
A example is “Kobe Bryant is bad at basketball.”

A simile is when you use two phrases or words and you compare them to describe something.
A example is "as snug as a bug in a rug" comparing someone who is very cozy to how comfortable a bug can be in a rug.

Symbol
A symbol is when the writer writes something and it gives you a symbol of what is coming up next.
A example is that when people see the light when they die, that is a symbol that their dead and going to heaven.

Theme
Theme is what the author is trying to make the reader what the story is about.
